Each time we are able to take a walk outside, or go to the park, I wonder if it will be our last trip of the year...
So far, we have had a mild fall, lots of sunshine, or at least dry days, that we can keep playing outside.
Today, we went to the park!
Judah loves to see animals!
Forte was so excited about the ducks, that she kind of jumped right in after them - and seemed very surprised at the cold wet landing...and yet, she did it about 3 times, lol!
Callie practically had to drag herself back to the bus...we took a walk, went down to the water to see the ducks, played at the park, and by the end, she was totally exhausted. She was not able to complete her last 4 therapy items tonight because of just how tired she was!
It is most definitely our director! Tina Riley is such a wonderful, special, giving person. She puts so much into this program, and into the children who she ministers to. And while all of us take the summer off, she keeps right on working, getting together music, and doing all of the work that needs to be done that we just have no idea about!
Today, we had an opportunity to bless our director.
And I think everyone really pulled through on this last minute idea!
Mrs. Riley started this program after the death of her disabled son, David, as a way to remember him, and keep his memory alive because he loved music.
He passed away when he was 9 years old...and with his passing, our beloved music program was born!
Any day now, Mrs. Riley's 2nd son, who got married last year, is expecting his first baby. A boy, whom he is naming after his late brother.
Today, we had a surprise 'grandbaby' shower for Mrs. Riley.
The children and I had so much fun getting some fun things for her to use with her new grandbaby!
It was almost too much for Justice to bear. When she got in, he kept trying to tell her what we got for her - before she had even sat down, lol!
Note - due to not having permission from other parents, I have selected only pictures that do not have children in them!
What an honor to be able to bless someone who blesses us so much!
