More Fair Pictures!

Judah and the only other 'little' besides my children at 4H pushing a chair around the benching area together.

We had LOTS and lots of time at the fair this year...

Ashley in a practice workshop on how to show dogs on her very first, very long day...she is NOT supposed to be laying down on the job, lol!

It was a long day for everyone, the olders, the dogs, and the littles.

This was the littles' favorite part of the fair...but Justice kept getting in trouble for going too close to others (though he didn't ever crash into them), and going too fast...so we had to quite going here as a place for them to get some of their wiggles out...

Justice petting a piglet.

Back to the benching area...here is Ashley with Blaze.

And Anna with Bear.

Here are Serenity, and Justice, looking at Callie's award willing photo of them...they happen to be wearing the same clothes as in the photo - which happen to be their favorites, lol!  Callie got a Best in Show, and a Junior Acheivement award on this photo!

Then we spent some time actually watching the chain saw sculptures being made...it goes much faster than I thought it would!

Here is what Judah thought of their work...

And here is Serenity's opinion:

The Alaskan Pig Races are always a hit...

And more benching area pictures...

It really was tiring!

Anna worked so hard talking to the public, and showing dogs on the table!

This is a practice session for the twins on showmanship.

Curious puppies!

There are the costumes that the girls would have worn to the costume party IF the puppies had not gone into heat!

The older ones especially were not able to really see or enjoy the fair while being tied to the benching area in the dog barn...so we had to make a special trip (and brought Great Grandpa Pence with us!) to actually see the fair this year.

Watching the lumberjack show...

And the Aztecan Indian Dancers...whose costumes were much more elaborate and...sequencey this year.

And there were a lot more of them this year, including this way cute little girl!

Children from 4-10 could participate in the quarter in a haystack search...

Which got the younger ones free pony ride tokens!

I think the pony rides were the littles' favorite part of the entire fair when it was all said and done!
