Miss Serenity is 6 months old today! What a blessing she is! In the last month, she has learned to use her hands a great deal more. She reaches out to things she wants. She has some definite preferences! She loves to chew on anything she can get her hands on - which included parsley and Matzo for passover!
She seemed to like the matzo, but was able to break pieces off, so she had to stick with the parsley...I was really just trying to keep her busy, and didn't want her to ingest anything. If all goes well, we will start solids in about 2 months...when she will be able to do more of it on her own! For now, she is getting all of her nutrition from nursing.
She is getting better and better at sitting up as well.
Her little personality is coming out more and more! She loves to watch her older siblings, especially J and Callie!
Our littlest Miss has also found her toes! She loves to pull her socks off and play with her feet these days! While she is nursing, she usually hold onto her foot, it is very cute, but not something I am willing to photograph for the blog for modesty's sake...
Serenity enjoys being on her tummy, playing with toys, and will stay there for 20-30 minutes watching the excitement around her while she plays on her own! She also loves to be held! When we are out, the only way I can effectively get her to take a nap is to put her in my ergo with the hood up!
